Fields & frames - Final Piece

So my final piece is called 'This is a public service announcement', its based on the idea of self-identity as a woman and what we're expected to be like. I wanted to use this unit as an opportunity to further use my love for editing, along with developing my skills, now combining my own live action footage. It was also my first time collaborating with my class, partnering up with Nina Sayuri. 

The idea first formed as I was wanting to create something that was unnerving & modern, gearing towards exploring self-image and the horrors online. I have previously explored this and as such felt confident navigating myself towards research. I looked into retro misguided PSA's and online video's that made me squirm.
