Experimental media - NOAH
This experimental film sees love and romance in the internet era, with teenager Noah navigating the trials and tribulations of love. The whole film is done through the computer screen or phone screen, indicating time passing, life changing and developments off screen.
I really liked the realness and the overall tone of this piece, it was there to show a realistic portrayal of how our dependency on the online world effects our interactions in the real one.
There were some issues with accuracy and perhaps with how in touch it was with the generation it was portraying (with the girl on that chatroom having no online presence).
The way it was filmed is also an inspiration for my final piece, the simplistic and at times fast-paced editing really kept your attention on something that could otherwise be dull.
